As Director of Production of JeMM Productions (Jerusalem Multimedia), I wrote and produced the claymation video / CD-ROM project called “Purim Rock!”, for which Igor Liner was the animator and Art Director . The half-hour film appears annually on national television in Israel (Channel Two), and both the video and CD-ROM have been distributed commercially in Israel and the U.S. The project was a co-produced with Scopus Films and Tel Ad Television Productions. Igor sketched the storyboards according to my script/score treatment, built the characters, and single-handedly animated the film between March 1999 and February 2000. I have never worked with as gifted an animator as Igor. His work is technically clean and fluid, and artistically subtle, witty, and moving. His appreciation of the power of small details to endear a character to viewers or to make a dramatic point is nothing short of masterful. The media reviews confirmed my opinion. Ha’aretz, the “New York Times of Israel”, called Igor’s animation “enchanting” and the only television special of the season worth watching. Igor is also a workhorse. The amount of work he churned out in the final six weeks of production was absolutely frightening. He has tremendous pride in his work, and apparently doesn’t buckle easily under pressure. I look forward to working with Igor on any future animation projects, and strongly recommend him as a uniquely talented animator.

I worked closely with Igor on animated buttons for 2AM's website. The taskwas to produce very light weight GIF animations as Download buttons – one animated button per product. I was responsible for website's overall concept, design and production process. Igor received from me the raw materials (still pictures from different products) and brief description of "what I want". The results were excellent. Igor produced interesting animation from almost no motion data. Each product received it's unique action type. Our interaction with Igor waspleasurable, quick and productive.
